New Pattern Release - Squiggles The Plushy Turtle

Its clear that I am not very good when it comes to blogging. I never remember until I do a pattern release which truthfully is not very often. Hence lack of posts. I really really wanted to be more current but sometimes when you are writing out into the very big world you wonder is anyone seeing this anyway. I am much more active on Instagram than I am anywhere else. I love the simplicity of it, I can post and go or make a reel (okay that is definitely more time consuming than a post and go) but its simple, and okay maybe I don't get a lot of views there either but maybe one day my little instagram page will grow, I finally made it to over a 1000 followers lol. That is something right? As you can see I do have the gift to ramble but lets get to the reason for this post. Of course its a pattern release. Let me just say I did do a pattern release back in January lol but forgot to post it. You can see a pic of it on my slide on the front page of my webpage.

Squiggles - yes that was the reason for this post. I have release a fun, plushy new pattern that is just so adorable and big. When I first made my Trenton Turtle I really wanted to make a plushy one but never did. But this year I decide that is it. I need a new turtle. I started creating Squiggles in early May but because I was so busy with making content for AmigurumiMay2022 I never did get my turtle finished to be featured in that awesome month long challenge. But finally today I am able to share with the world the pattern release for Squiggles the Plushy Turtle which can be found currently on Etsy and Ravelry and shortly in my store on here.

My testers used Bernat Blanket, Bernat Velvet and Worsted Weight yarn for their tests. And they turned out so cute. Squiggles turned out better than I expected.

When I finally committed to making Squiggles I knew the yarn I wanted to use, Loops and Threads Sweet Snuggles Lite. This yarn is so soft and plush but I will admit when working with it, it sheds. I would see little yarn devils floating around my floor but the end results were perfect. The bright colours were perfect for this design. I just wish they had more colours available and sadly you can't even get the yarn now. I am not sure if it has been discontinued or being rebranded but impossible to find at Michaels right now. I just hope its being rebranded and that they are coming out with even more colours because this stuff was so soft on the hands that every now and than I would stop working with it just to feel its softness. It gives all the comfort feels.

If you are interested in this pattern, as I said it can be found on Ravelry and Etsy, LoveCrafts once it has been published, and here in my store. If you click on the picture above it will take you directly to Etsy. And if you click on the picture below it will take you to Ravelry.
